7 Gates of Hell - Malachai
A personal project where I wanted to create a sandbox for my self to play.
The project is meant to be designs for a hack and slash hero collector set in a contemporary fantasy universe.

In a world where gates of hell have been opened, demons roam the streets.
Humans have found ways to fight back by connecting to Divinity or Profanity through relic weapon, ruins and sacred symbols.
There are those too who are possessed by deities, spirits and other supernatural beings.
Some rumours exist of Demigods but they have yet to be seen.
These fighters unite to close the gates but not all of them have good intentions.

Honing on the direction. Simplified the clothing a lot to ground him a bit more into everyday fashion with a hint of fantasy. Tried some colour variations to test other moods for him.
I wanted to keep him feeling like a regular guy without too much embellishments in his clothing to create a nice contrast between his clothing and his weapons.
